The 2027 McGowan-Heard Committee is pleased to announce our next family reunion will be held for the first time in our history, Atlanta (GA),

July 16th THRU JULY 18TH

nicknamed, “The City in the Forest”, due to its abundance of trees…..Uncommon among other major cities.

For almost 50 years

we have been having family reunions. Throughout the years, since the inception of our family reunions in 1978.

our reunions have been a sign of love, unity, and strength and a time to honor our family name, history, and heritage.

These reunions are opportunities to reconnect, create memories, help the younger generations understand where they come from, and strengthen the bondsthat tie our family together.

this committee encourages you and as many of your family members as possible to attend the upcoming family reunion.

Please share this letter with relatives who may not see it directly and encourage them to attend. We hope to see you in Atlanta in July 2027.
